I am a mom of two boys, an attorney, and an NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a Women’s Fitness Specialization and 200 hour yoga teacher training from Yandara yoga school.
When I was in my tweens my mom took me to yoga class. At 17, I went to a meditation retreat with Ram Dass and Sharon Salzberg. I persisted in this line and eventually earned a religious studies degree and lived in buddhist monasteries for a few months before going to law school.
The goal of this blog is to explore meditation and the little things we can do with our time (woot fitness) and to our environment to make life feel a little more tolerable when everything may feel hectic.
